Catalog description

Examines the inner workings of the federal criminal justice system with special emphasis on the practical application of the Federal rules of Criminal Procedure relative to the prosecution and defense of Title 18 offenses. The course includes an analysis of Title 18 offenses preliminary proceedings indictment and information, arraignment and preparation for trial, venue, judgement, appeal, supplemental and special proceedings and the general provisions of federal criminal trial practice.
