Catalog description

This course focuses on the similarities and differences among racial, ethnic, cultural and minority populations in the United States. The goal of this course is to pro- vide an introductory sociological perspective of diversity. Basic theories of race, ethnic, cultural, and gender relations will be examined as well as the conse- quences of conflict, prejudice, and discrimination in the United States.
