Co-requisite English Composition I

Composition I Prerequisites: ACCUPLACER writing score of 4 or ACCUPLACER writing score of 3 and High School English/Language Arts grade average of B or higher. Corequisite: ENGL 1101 This course emphasizes the development and use of reading, writing, and grammar skills necessary for the successful completion of college level writing courses. Students must be enrolled in ENGL 1101 as a co- requisite for this course, and they will receive extensive help with their ENGL 1101 assignments via small group work and individualized instruction. This course will closely follow the topics covered in the concurrent ENGL 1101 class and will include, as necessary, review topics from ENGL 1101.
