Catalog description

This course provides the student with information and training on computer penetration testing. This course will provide the student with the knowledge and skills required to plan and scope a penetration testing engagement which includes vulnerability scanning, understanding legal and compliance requirements, analyzing results, and producing a written report with remediation techniques. This course is designed to help the student prepare for the CompTIA PenTest+ certification exam. Pre-requisite: Instructor consent. (4 credit, 4 lecture, 0 lab)
