Catalog description

This course involves comprehensive instruction on basic reading, writing and study skills needed to be successful in college course work. Areas of instruction will cover a review of basic grammar, vocabulary development, comprehension skills, critical and literal reading skills, study strategies, paragraph and essay development, and, the use of technology to complete assignments. May be offered as variable credit. Pre-requisite: Placement test score (4 credit, 4 lecture, 0 lab)
