Catalog description
This course is designed to integrate theory and clinical simulation instruction for the practice of respiratory care in the neonatal, infant, and pediatric populations. The student will focus on the physiologic development, basic assessment, initiating, monitoring and managing oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, CPAP and mechanical ventilation in the neonatal pediatric population. A grade of "C" or better is required for passing. (Only offered in the fall).
