Catalog description

This course is designed to focus attention on the many drugs used in treating respiratory diseases, their pharmcodynamics and pharmacokinetics. Classes of drugs covered include bronchodilators, anti-inflammatory, mucolytics/proteolytics, sedatives and diuretics, and some common cardiac drugs used in resuscitation. A grade of "C" or better is required for passing. (Only offered in the fall).
