CAPSTONE: Practicum-OTA (B)

Catalog description

This course provides practical, general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college and the student. This course is an advanced Level II Fieldwork experience that offers intensive training and experience at the workplace leading to entry-level skills. The emphasis is on practical work experience for which the student has already acquired the theoretical knowledge and basic skills in the classroom setting. The clinical educator provides direct supervision and learning objectives are stablished in collaboration with College Faculty.
