This course is an introduction of occupational therapy including the historical development and philosophy. Emphasis is placed on the roles of the occupational therapy assistant. Topics include occupation in daily life, education and functions, occupational therapy personnel, current health care environment, and moral, legal and ethical issues. This course is offered in a hybrid format.
