Leadership and Management in Professional Nursing

Catalog description

This course relates the nursing process to leadership and management in the clinical setting. Theories of leadership, management, and organizational structures will be applied to nursing practice and the healthcare arena. Students will apply knowledge and skills in planning and delegating nursing care, ethical and critical decision-making through case scenarios to prepare their transition to professional leadership roles.
