Catalog description

This course is a study of the basic concepts necessary for success in MATH 1332 . The course is designed as a co-requisite for MATH 1332 for students who are not yet college-ready in mathematics according to Texas Success Initiative (TSI) guidelines. Topics include: operations on real numbers, including fractions, decimal notation, percentages, proportions, exponential notation, order of operations, formulas, problem solving skills including basic statistics, solving and graphing basic linear equations. The topics are integrated with the college-level math course.
