INTRODUCTION TO SCREENWRITING FOR FILM/TV

Catalog description

This course introduces students to fundamental dramatic conventions and formats of screenwriting for film and television. Students will identify, evaluate, and employ fundamental dramatic conventions such as structure, character development, dialogue, and setting as they analyze works of philosophical, historical, literary, aesthetic, and cultural importance, such as produced screenplays, and write their own original work.
