SPECIAL TOPICS IN STAGE MANAGEMENT

Catalog description

This is an advanced course in stage management for musical theater, concert dance, ballet, opera, and other productions where music plays a central role. Students learn the skills necessary to work successfully with vocal directors, musical directors, musicians, choreographers, and dancers. Topics include the language and conventions of music, rehearsal and performance procedures, and working with the relevant labor unions.
