Catalog description
This course makes use of an interdisciplinary and comparative approach to study the experiences of core racialized groups in the United States: Native Americans, African Americans, Asian Americans, and Chicanx/Latinx peoples. It applies theoretical frameworks and knowledge from core racialized groups to understand current and structural issues of race and racism, race relations, citizenship, immigration, ethnocentrism, white supremacy, discrimination, social justice, and anti-racist struggles. Also listed as ES 9. Credit given in either area, not both.
