Catalog description

This course presents the statistical concepts and methods most widely used in behavioral and social science research. Students study the principles of descriptive and inferential statistics, concentrating on the correct analysis of data relating to practical behavioral problems, and the assumptions underlying statistical inferences. The course is recommended as the second course in the psychology major sequence following completion of the introductory course (Psychology 1) and is intended to build an adequate foundation for the study of research methods (Psychology 2). Credit may be earned in either PSYC 10 or 10H, but not both. C-ID: SOCI 125
