This course focuses on the analysis of public health data for the purpose of generating information resulting in actionable decisions. The primary concepts covered in this course include health care statistics, data analysis, mining, and exploration. Microsoft Excel is utilized to analyze public health data and information related to clinical and business systems in healthcare. This course is designed for public health informatics and information technology majors. Formerly HIT 240.
