This course introduces the functions of effective human resource management that help organizations achieve success. It emphasizes ways that human resource management can provide a competitive edge for an organization and be a fundamental element of its organizational strategy. The course examines techniques of human resource planning; recruiting, selecting, training, and evaluating personnel; compensation and benefits administration; and union/management relations.
