Catalog description

This course introduces students to the profession of personal training. It covers such topics as, scope of practice, business fundamentals, professional responsibilities, and legal guidelines. Students will learn how to build rapport and communicate with clients. Off-campus trips may be required. Course prepares students to further their certification with the American Council of Exercise (ACE) exam. Recommended to be taken concurrently with KNES 110. (formerly KNES 212)
