Catalog description

An introduction to the field of interior design focusing on the impact of built environments on the social, physical, psychological, and aesthetic needs of people. Exploration of design and color theories, space planning, building systems, lighting, furniture, finishes, and accessories, as well as considerations for sustainability, accessibility, and wellness. Integration of design process, creative expression, and consumer information related to living environments and public spaces. This course is designed for interior design majors and all students interested in the field.
