FIELD GEOGRAPHY OF CITIES AND NATURE

Catalog description

This lecture and laboratory course introduces students to learning physical and cultural geography in the field. Students observe and analyze patterns in weather and climate, vegetation, natural landscapes and landforms, settlement patterns, land use patterns, and historical cultural geography. Emphasis is placed on the interrelationships between humans and their environment. Thematic emphasis will vary depending on location.
