Catalog description
This introductory course emphasizes the basic concepts of electricity and their practical applications. The course focuses on basic two-terminal passive devices, direct current and alternating current, plus standard laboratory test equipment and procedures. Students analyze and test, circuits, including batteries, resistors, capacitors and inductors connected in series, parallel, and series-parallel circuits. ELEC 100 was formerly offered as ELEC 230.
