Evaluation of American Cinema as an art form and a medium of mass communication through exploration of its history, literature, creative techniques, and relationship to society. Viewing and critiquing outstanding films from different eras of cinema's history. The Honors course is enriched by smaller class size, seminar discussions, and presentations. Credit for either CTVR 3 or CTVR 3H, but not both.
