BEEKEEPING EQUIPMENT AND BEE NEEDS

Catalog description

Students will learn about the important tasks of building and maintaining the beekeeping equipment needed to take care of the honey bees, as well as to provide a clean, safe and welcoming apiary. Students will assemble and repair woodenware, hive components, processing equipment, protection apparatus and bee foods. Seasonal gardening needs will also be covered, insuring the necessary food availability for the honey bees.
