ADVANCED PRONUNCIATION

Catalog description

This course helps advanced English language learners refine their pronunciation of American English. Emphasis is on using word stress, rhythm, and thought groups with appropriate focus words, intonation, and linking. Class activities include listen-and-repeat exercises, pronunciation practice in short conversations, and individual feedback from the teacher. This is a noncredit, open-entry/open-exit course.
