This course introduces the principles of Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW). This will include component and consumable identification, safe break down and setup of equipment, practice of V-Groove with backing, and back gouging in all positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead). Pre-requisite(s): WELD 2115 Concurrency: WELD 2103 , WELD 2213 Co-requisite(s): None
