Acting II

Catalog description

This class examines study and performance of selected stage plays based on contemporary acting, movement, and voice theories. Improvisational exercises will develop audition, characterization, and direction techniques. Students will be expected to prepare, rehearse, perform scenes, and improvisation exercises together during class. Students will perform two/three-person scenes and conduct a scene analysis on their scene. Students will further develop acting skills and techniques that are based on the Stanislavski techniques. Pre-requisite(s): THEA 2010 Concurrency: None Co-requisite(s): None
