Introduction to Psychology I

Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the scientific study of behavior, including such topics as learning, memory, stress, personality, mental disorders, therapies, and social behavior. It emphasizes the understanding and application of psychological principles. While individual introspection and reflection on the course material is expected, the classroom climate will also be very interactive. Equivalent to CPSY 2013, Introduction to Psychology, Louisiana Board of Regents Common Course Matrix. SLCC Equivalency PSYC 2010.
