Catalog description

This course introduces students to the public policy-making process in the United States. The politics of agenda setting, policy formulation, and policy implementation are examined. Students learn to analyze and evaluate public policy outcomes. Students will learn about public policy as it relates to current issues and the role of various stakeholders, including corporations, interest groups, social movements and public opinion.
