Catalog description

Algebra/Trigonometry-based physics: vectors, kinematics, Newton’s Laws, momentum, work and energy, rotations, oscillations and waves, elasticity and equilibrium, thermodynamics. This course is not intended for engineering majors. Equivalent to PHSC 1000 and PHYS 2204. Students may only use one version of the course to fulfill degree plan requirements.(Equivalent to CPHY 2113, Physics I (Algebra/Trigonometry Based), Louisiana Board of Regents Common Course Matrix.
