Catalog description
This course is an overview of the physical, chemical, and technical principles used to understand the processing of natural gas and its by-products. Topics will include physical properties, phase equilibria and vapor liquid equilibrium calculations, water-hydrocarbon systems and natural gas dehydration, natural gas gathering and plant inlet separation, sour natural gas treating / sweetening, dew point control and NGL liquid recovery, acid gas compression and injection, sulfur recovery. Pre-requisite(s): None Concurrency: OGPT 2020 , OGPT 2200 Co-requisite(s): None
