Microbiology Practicum

Catalog description

This course includes clinical experience in the hospital laboratory setting or clinical laboratory. Laboratory practice includes routine diagnostic tests. Clinical conference time is included with the instructor. Written exams are an integral part of this practicum. The practicum will be in the following areas: Microbiology/Parasitology/Mycology in 4 weeks with a minimum of 40 hours a week in the laboratory. Pre-requisite(s): MLTS 1453 , MLTS 2060 , MLTS 2061 , MLTS 2203 , MLTS 2410 , MLTS 2411 Concurrency: NONE Co-requisite(s): NONE
