Catalog description

This course provides the student with an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from a planned work experience in the healthcare field. Internships provide entry-level, on-the-job learning opportunities, which allow interns to augment their work experience, home important work skills, develop their career goals, and establish connections that may prove useful throughout the span of their careers. This course is comprised of lecture-based lessons and internship hours and will require an application and a minimum GPA of 2.5. Pre-requisite(s): Eligibility for ENGL 1010 , PSYC 1010 , MATH 1105 Concurrency: None Co-requisite(s): None
