A study of the physical processes of the Earth, including such topics as minerals, the rock cycle, volcanoes, earthquakes, weathering, plate tectonics, and rivers. Either GEOL 1010 OR GEOL 1030 may be used to fulfill a degree plan requirement, but not both.Equivalent to CGEO 1103, Physical Geology, Louisiana Board of Regents Common Course Matrix.
