Introduction to Geographic Information Systems

Catalog description

The student will be introduced to Geographic Information Systems and the methods used to collect spatial data. The methods of inputting spatial data into the GIS database will be identified and discussed. Organization, analysis and the management of spatial data will be learned. The student will become familiar with the ARCView GIS Program. Pre-requisite(s): None Co-requisite(s): None
