Study of scientific method; general concepts and principles of biological molecules, cell structure and function, and genetics. BIOL 1000 OR BIOL 1010 may be used to fulfill degree plan requirements, but not both. Equivalent to CBIO 1033, General Biology I (Science Majors), Louisiana Board of Regents Common Course Matrix. Pre-requisite(s): ACT Math score of 17 or above/equivalency to Accuplacer/SAT or a grade of “C” or better in MATH 1105 and ACT English score of 15 or above /equivalency to Accuplacer/SAT or a grade of “C” or better in ENGL 1010 Concurrency: None Co-requisite(s): None
