Catalog description

An interdisciplinary course that uses scientific principles to examine environmental issues. The inter-relatedness between humans and nature as well as the earth’s limited resources will be studied. Specific topics include human population, traditional energy sources, alternative energy sources, air pollution, formation of the ozone hole, global warming, and water pollution. Prerequisite: Completing or exempting Support-level ENGL.
