Catalog description

This course focuses on the integration of multicultural children’s literature in curriculum supporting the development of speaking, reading, writing, and thinking critically in elementary level classrooms with diverse student populations, including second language learners. Clinical experiences in the field required. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education program.
