Catalog description

An introduction to the concept of abnormal psychology. The course will provide an overview of definitions of abnormality, issues of diagnosis and treatment, including a general introduction to the DSM-IV, theories of abnormal behavior and preventative issues, with a focus on community psychology. Prerequisite: Completing or exempting Support-level ENGL.
