Catalog description

This practice learning experience enhances clinical skills in nursing leadership and management in the acute care and community settings. Within the practice learning environment, the student will examine and appraise current trends in nursing leadership and management in order to improve care delivery in a cost-effective manner. The practice learning experience will also embrace concepts of healthcare delivery to individuals, families, and groups found in the community.
