Catalog description

The course will introduce students to basic tools of engineering economy such as interest rates, cash flow analysis, cost benefit analysis, and depreciation analysis that are used in comparing and evaluating multiple engineering projects on the basis of quantitative monetary parameters. Students will additionally be introduced to basic quality control techniques such as quality control charts and Six Sigma techniques for assuring product quality. Prerequisites: A minimum grade of "C" in MENT 2110, MENT 3135 and MENT 3333.
