Catalog description

This course emphasizes quantitative reasoning skills needed for informed citizens to understand the world around them. Topics include logic, basic probability, data analysis, and modeling from data. Prerequisite/Corequisite: Exempting Support-level MATH courses. Students who have placed into MATH 0997 must take MATH 0997 as a corequisite to MATH 1001. A grade of “C” or better is required for graduation.
