Catalog description

This course focuses on developing skills in implementing proactive strategies for positive behavior management in the elementary school setting. Key areas of focus include functional behavioral assessments to understand the underlying reasons for challenging behaviors, behavior data collection, creating positive classroom environments, and implementing classroom positive behavior support strategies, along with techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program.
