This course examines characteristics and needs of students with exceptionalities, as well as the role, and responsibilities of a special education teacher in MTSS/RTI, instruction, evaluation and communication with families of students with special needs. Minimum grade of “B” is required for graduation. Prerequisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program.
