Professional Writing and Communications for Educators

Catalog description

This course is designed to give teacher candidates experience writing (informational, narrative, persuasive) exemplars for K-5 writing standards. Emphasis will also be placed on written and spoken communication with targeted audiences (students, colleagues, leaders, etc.). The focus for both written and spoken communication will be conventions of Standard English, knowledge of language, and vocabulary acquisition and use. Pre-Requisite: Admission to Teacher Education Program
