Catalog description

A course emphasizing the study of the processes, elements, uses and the impacts of mass communication, including the history, development, operation, and cultural effects of various forms of media (e.g., books, newspapers, magazines, motion pictures, radio, television, sound recordings, and computer media) on society. Prerequisite: Completing or exempting Support-level ENGL.
