Principles of Chemistry I

First course in a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors. Topics to be covered include composition of matter, stoichiometry, periodic relations, and nomenclature. Laboratory exercises supplement the lecture material. Prerequisites or Corequisite: MATH 1111 or MATH 1113; Completing or exempting Support-level ENGL.
