Catalog description

This course covers the psychophysics of pitch, intensity and timbre; room acoustics; environmental and industrial noise control; music and synthetic sounds. Laboratory studies include noise dosage and monitoring, demonstration of beats and differences in tones, resonances, and systems of tuning and harmony. Prerequisites and Corequisites Course prerequisite: PSYC 101 - General Psychology (C) [SGR #3, HSDC]
