Catalog description

This course is designed to help students know and use the major concepts and tools of inquiry in health and physical education, such as first aid/CPR and emergency care, basic health concepts, nutrition, safety, dance, human movement, and physical activity. Students apply these concepts in teaching methods to create opportunities for P-8 student development and practice of skills that contribute to good health and foster active, healthy life styles and enhance quality of life for elementary students. Note Registration restriction: Sophomore standing required.
