Catalog description

This course introduces concepts foundational to the field of Native American Studies from a multidisciplinary perspective. These themes include: sovereignty and self-determination, indigenous worldviews and philosophies, colonization and decolonization, intellectual and cultural sovereignty and the commitment of Native American Studies to social justice. This course meets System General Education Requirement: SGR #3 This course qualifies for High School Dual Credit: HSDC
