Adaptive Music Methods

Catalog description

Students will explore the function and contribution of music in the education of students with special needs and review methods and materials for the development of effective musical experiences for PK-12 students with various exceptionalities. Students will survey federal and state legislation affecting special education and learn about the implications in PK-12 music education.
